Motorola announced foldable smartphones Moto Razr 50 and Razr 50 Ultra
The Motorola brand, owned by the Chinese corporation Lenovo, has announced new folding smartphones of the Razr 50 series. GSM Arena reports this.
The line includes two devices – Moto Razr 50 and Moto Razr 50 Ultra. The top-end Moto Razr 50 Ultra came with a 6.9-inch POLED display with support for 165 hertz. It also has an additional 4-inch screen – journalists called it the largest second display on the market. The phone is equipped with the flagship Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 processor, has 8 gigabytes of RAM and 256 gigabytes of internal memory.
On the back panel of the presented device there is a dual camera with lenses with a resolution of 50 megapixels each. The device received a battery with a capacity of 4000 milliamp-hours, moisture protection according to the IPX8 standard, Android 14 with the Moto MyUX shell.
The younger version of the Moto Razr 50 features a second display with a diagonal of 3.6 inches. The device also received a Mediatek Dimensity 7300X chip, a dual camera with 50 and 13 megapixel lenses, and a larger battery with a capacity of 4200 milliamp-hours.
Currently, Motorola devices are only available in China. The price of the Moto Razr 50 Ultra starts at 5,699 yuan, or about 68 thousand rubles. Moto Razr 50 was priced at a minimum of 3,699 yuan, or about 44 thousand rubles.
Earlier, SmartPrix insiders said that Samsung would raise prices for folding flagships. The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 models will cost $100 more than their predecessors.
