An update of the mBank mobile application has appeared on Google Play, which introduced changes to mobile authorization. “Customers will authorize selected transfers by tapping the card on their smartphone,” the website reported at the end of May.
mBank has introduced a new feature. It is intended to increase payment security
The new solution is intended to increase payment security and increase customer convenience. Importantly, it is not obligatory. mBank emphasized that this is an additional authorization option for customers who have a physical payment card. The solution is available to customers using Android devices.
“This option will appear when our system considers a given operation suspicious. Then we will ask the customer to additionally confirm it by placing the card on the smartphone. If the customer does not have the card with him, we will offer him another method of additional authorization of the operation,” mBank told the website. A similar solution is to be introduced on iOS devices.
