Apple fixed a popular iPhone screen bug but broke an important device function. This is reported by the GizChina edition.
The journalists drew attention to the complaints of iPhone users that after the repair and replacement of the old screen in an unauthorized service center with a new one, the face unlock function was disabled on the device. The company has corrected this flaw, but at the cost of a new error.
Some users who faced Face ID error reported that the issue has been fixed. But after the update on smartphones, the displays of which were installed in unofficial SCs, the True Tone function was disabled. This option adjusts the colors on the iPhone to match the ambient light conditions so that the picture on the screen is more natural.
According to journalists, the company has not yet responded to this problem. Apple engineers are expected to fix the problem as soon as possible.
In early December, Apple allowed users to repair iPhones at unofficial service centers. A section also appeared in the phone’s settings, which displayed the repair history of a specific device.
