Cybercriminals are not idle and are targeting customers of two large banks in Poland. This is reported by the cybersecurity team at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (CSIRT KNF).

ATTENTION! Cybercriminals have prepared a fake website impersonating PKO BP. Entering your login and password there may result in the loss of your funds. Don’t get robbed and always carefully check the address of the website you are on!” – warn specialists from the cybersecurity team at the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (CSIRT KNF). And they also present a special graphic.

A threat also to Bank Pekao customers

“This is not the only warning regarding banks. CSIRT KNF informed a few days ago that customers of Bank Pekao should also be careful. We warn against dangerous advertisements on Facebook, in which fraudsters impersonate Bank Pekao SA. After clicking on the advertisement, the victim goes to a malicious website , where she is encouraged to install the fake PeoPay CASHBACK application. Don’t get robbed! – cybersecurity experts appeal.
