Apple didn’t report Vision Pro sales in its earnings report

The Verge: Apple did not disclose sales information for Vision Pro glasses

Apple has not disclosed sales information for the Vision Pro headset. Journalists from The Verge drew attention to this.

Media authors noted that the release of augmented reality glasses took place at the beginning of the year, and the IT giant probably has some sales figures. However, the company did not report any data about the device in its quarterly earnings report. Apple CEO Tim Cook said only that in the last quarter the company introduced Vision Pro, a device that “shows the world the potential of spatial computing.”

Journalists from 9to5Mac noted that some of Apple’s financial indicators have declined. Thus, in the last quarter, revenue from iPhone sales fell by 10 percent year over year, amounting to $45.96 billion. iPad revenue fell 17 percent to $5.56 billion. Revenue from sales of Mac computers, on the contrary, grew by 4 percent to $7.45 billion.

Apple CEO Tim Cook noted that in May the company will hold a presentation and present new gadgets. In June, the corporation will show new products at the WWDC conference.

At the end of April, authoritative insider Ming-Chi Ko said that Apple had halved the supply of the Vision Pro augmented reality headset. By the end of the year, the company intends to produce 400-450 thousand units of the device.
