The head of Kaspersky Lab, Evgeny Kaspersky, presented a working Russian sample of a smartphone running the KasperskyOS operating system. TASS reports this.
He showed the device from the developer of mobile devices Aquarius at the innovation summit of the System Electric company.
“Works. All software, the operating system, starting from loading, is all ours,” Kaspersky clarified.
The Kaspersky press service explained that the presented smartphone is one of the research samples. The operating system can be installed on devices from Russian and Asian suppliers, subject to certain conditions.
In July 2021, Kaspersky spoke in an interview with RIA Novosti about plans to release a secure phone. A promising device based on KasperskyOS is intended for the industrial and corporate sectors.
