Cheap iPhone will get an OLED screen

iPhone SE 4 will come with an OLED display, A16 chip and 6 gigabytes of memory

Well-known insider Nguyen Phi Hung revealed the characteristics of the future cheap Apple smartphone. This is reported in X author.

The specialist found out that the fourth generation iPhone SE will have an OLED display for the first time in the history of the line. The device will be released with a 6.1-inch LTPS OLED screen with a resolution of 1080 pixels and support for a frequency of 60 hertz.

The device will also receive the A16 Bionic processor, which is used in the iPhone 15. The gadget will be equipped with six gigabytes of LPDDR5 RAM and a Snapdragon X70 modem. Nguyen Phi Hung clarified that the smartphone will come with a Face ID biometric sensor, an aluminum frame and a glass back panel. According to the author, the device will look similar to the iPhone 13 from the front.

In the report, experts do not specify the resolution of the main camera, but the author noted that it will be based on the IMX503 sensor. Also, the iPhone SE 4 will receive a battery with a capacity of 3279 milliamp-hours with support for 20 watt fast charging.

The release date for the gadget has not been disclosed. The latest iPhone SE was released in the spring of 2022, the first device in the line – in 2016.

In early March, journalists from 91Mobiles reported that the new iPhone SE would appear in early 2025. The device will receive a biometric Face ID sensor, which has been available in Apple smartphones since 2017.
