“It was a good game. In the first half we had opportunities, but also in the second half: the most sensational was when, after a shot by Yildiz Vlahovic, he escaped instead of remaining at the far post, where he could have scored into an empty goal. Torino has a good defense. The boys are disappointed with the ‘non-win’, but we played a good game and it was the third in which we didn’t concede a goal”, said Allegri.
Serbian Dušan Vlahović missed a clear chance during the duel, but the Juve coach preferred to defend the European striker.
“Everything is fine. It was a bad night. He is very young, he is a center forward in the penalty area and when he goes into space he can protect and open the game”, said the coach in an interview with the channel DAZN.
Allegri also spoke about the entry of young players into the match and highlighted that the team has not yet achieved its objectives in the current season.
“Even today we put young players on the field who came out of the Next Generation. Then the team will make its assessments on next year’s market. At this moment we have not yet achieved our objectives, for me it is important to reach the end together with the team and the owners to achieve this football objective for us and it is important on an economic level”, added Allegri.
