Bloomberg: MacBook Pro with M4 processor for working with AI will be released before the end of the year
The American corporation Apple will present the first computer focused on professional work with artificial intelligence (AI). Bloomberg reports this.
The agency’s sources learned that by the end of the year the company will update its line of computers. It will include the iMac desktop computer, 14-inch and 16-inch MacBook Pro laptops, and a compact Mac mini computer. All devices will be powered by the M4 processor.
According to insiders, MacBook Pro models will be focused on working with AI. In this regard, they will receive improved chips – most likely M4 Pro or M4 Max. In early March, the company released the MacBook Air computer, which received a separate Neural Engine processor for artificial intelligence tasks. However, it is not intended for professional use.
The production of powerful processors for new computers is close to the start, sources familiar with Appleās plans said. The company will release several chip models codenamed Donan, Brava and Hidra.
In mid-March, Bloomberg sources reported that Apple had begun developing a laptop focused on working with artificial intelligence. Journalists suggested that Apple will compete with AI computers on Windows.
