Journalists from Android Authority discovered an advanced mode for connecting a smartphone to a monitor as a PC in the Android OS. This was reported on the media website.
In a special mode, you can connect an Android smartphone to a monitor and keyboard and use the device as a computer. An interface adapted to the screen diagonal will appear on the screen. Applications will open in separate windows that can be moved around the screen and scaled in size.
According to experts, the mode will actually turn a mobile device into a computer that can be used to work with office applications or for entertainment. For greater convenience, you can place two windows on the screen at the same time. The interface has its own taskbar located at the top of the screen.
Journalists noted that many smartphone manufacturers are adding similar operating modes to their devices – for example, DeX from Samsung. Most likely, the new mode will appear in Android 15.
At the beginning of April, it became known that the new generation Android operating system will feature Private Space for storing confidential data. To gain access, the user will need to enter a PIN code.
