Samsung will present inexpensive foldable smartphones Galaxy Z Fold FE and Z Flip FE
The South Korean corporation Samsung has prepared the release of two inexpensive smartphones with a flexible display. Journalists from the Chinese publication MyDrivers became aware of the company’s plans.
Information has appeared on the Internet that next summer Samsung should present two inexpensive foldable devices at once. The first is the Galaxy Z Fold FE smartphone-tablet, which should have dimensions of 155.1 x 67.1 x 14.2 millimeters when folded. The second is the Galaxy Z Flip FE clamshell with dimensions of 165.2×71.9×6.9 millimeters.
Insiders also said that the first phone presented will be released with Snapdragon and Exynos processors, depending on the sales region. The cheaper Galaxy Z Flip FE will have a Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chip.
The models will also be equipped with storage capacities of 256 and 512 gigabytes. Galaxy Z Fold FE will have 12 or 16 gigabytes of RAM, Galaxy Z Flip FE will come in a version with 8 gigabytes. The cost of future smartphones is not disclosed.
In mid-March, Korean sources said that Apple had postponed the release of its first foldable smartphone. Due to the protracted development process, the release of the device was postponed to 2027.
