Apple is working on its own “kerfus”. Robots on wheels are going to live in our homes

Apple is working on a home robot that will help us with everyday duties – informs one of the industry sources. After abandoning the Apple Car project, the Cupertino company is also preparing several other new products.

, which the Cupertino-based company has been working on for at least a decade. As journalist Mark Gurman explained, the iPhone manufacturer had problems with implementing its vision for the Apple Car almost from the very beginning. The company was also afraid that this product would not generate high margins.

This does not mean, however, that Apple has stopped exploring new market niches. On the contrary. The company is currently working on several smart home projects, and one of them sounds quite futuristic.

Is Apple working on a home robot? This is Kerfuś “on steroids”

The above-mentioned Mark Gurman, one of the best-informed sources on all matters related to Apple, has just reported that the Cupertino giant is preparing at least three completely new products – most of them are in the initial stages of development.

The first of them is to be a tablet. This is probably a modified version of the iPad that will enable us to manage the smart home system (e.g. lighting control or even remote control of home appliances such as washing machines and refrigerators). The second piece of equipment would be the HomePod speaker with a built-in and rotatable screen.

However, the third project promises to be the most interesting. Apple is to be working on something like a home robot with a built-in screen that will be able to move around our home independently. Unfortunately, for now the details related to this device are shrouded in mystery.

However, now in , an autonomous robot with the face of a kitten, which won the hearts of customers of the Carrefour store chain some time ago. Kerfu¶ is a model of the self-propelled BellaBot robot from Pudu Robotics, which is equipped with multimedia functions, such as Al voice interactions or interactions using light signals. The most impressive thing, however, is the built-in screen that resembles Kerfus’ face and imitates a cat’s face.
