SamMobile: Apple had to postpone the release of iPad Pro with OLED because of Samsung
The reason for the disruption in the production of the new generation Apple iPad Pro tablets has become known. This was reported by SamMobile.
Authoritative sources previously reported that Apple will introduce a new generation of tablets by the end of March. However, the announcement of the iPad Pro was cancelled. According to insiders, this was due to a Samsung manufacturing defect.
The material states that the Korean corporation was unable to provide its American partner with a batch of OLED panels of adequate quality. Because of this, Apple had to turn to LG Display. This is also why LG will significantly increase its production capacity in April.
Due to Samsung’s problems, LG Display will also account for 60 percent of Apple’s iPad Pro orders. It is expected that the main feature of the new tablets will be the presence of an OLED display – it is considered brighter and higher quality than a regular IPS panel. The release of new generation tablets is expected in May.
At the end of March, Chinese insiders showed early prototypes of the iPhone 16. Judging by the photo, the overall design of the smartphones will remain unchanged, but the launch iPhone 16 and 16 Plus devices will receive vertically oriented cameras.
