Appleinsider: Apple patented an iPhone with a 360-degree display
An Apple patent for a smartphone with an infinite display has been discovered online. Appleinsider reports this.
The description of the invention states that such a device will help solve the problem of relatively small smartphone screens. According to the developers, the usable space of modern phones is quite small and therefore they proposed using a 360-degree display.
An iPhone like this can show images in any part of the panoramic screen. According to the corporation’s engineers, this will allow the device to be used in a new way.
The publication’s journalists noticed that the display completely encircles the body of the smartphone, as it is made of flexible material. According to Appleinsider, by patenting this invention, Apple is likely continuing to work on the foldable iPhone project, which was recently shelved. Experts also recalled that the company patented smartphones with a similar display in 2013, 2019 and 2020.
At the end of January, it became known that Apple had patented an iPhone interface for underwater use. This interface will have increased contrast buttons and smooth animation.
