Appleinsider: iPhone 16 will get new cameras and a photo button
Chinese insiders showed early prototypes of the iPhone 16. Appleinsider reports this.
In images published on the Chinese social network Weibo, the authors showed supposedly accurate mock-ups of new Apple smartphones. Journalists noted that the overall design of the iPhone will remain unchanged, but the starting iPhone 16 and 16 Plus devices will receive vertically oriented cameras. In current smartphones, cameras are oriented diagonally.
The photo also showed a new button, which, together with the “Action” button, will appear on the side frame of the devices. Clicking this button will trigger the camera’s virtual shutter.
Judging by the iPhone 16 Pro prototype, the flagship devices in the series will come with a triple camera and an additional button. The insider also revealed that the 16 Pro model will be slightly wider than the 15 Pro and will also have a larger display.
In mid-February, Korean sources said that future Apple flagships will receive versions with two terabytes of internal memory. Devices can also receive a record-breaking battery in iPhone history.
