Nvidia has decided to refresh its series of GPUs for generative artificial intelligence models two years after the launch of the H100 series. The new Blackwell systems are seven to thirty times faster than H100 systems, and up to twenty-five times more energy efficient. The company boasts a performance jump in AI calculations from 4 petaflops to 20 petaflops.
The first chip to be made available this year is the GB200 Grace Blackwell Superchip. It consists of two interconnected B200 graphics chips and one central processor based on ARM architecture.

The Greens rarely share information about the forecast prices of new systems before they reach customers. Especially in relation to products created with business customers in mind, and these are undoubtedly the Blackwell series chips.
It is even more surprising that the president of Nvidia, Jensen Huang, decided to reveal the secret on this issue. In a conversation with CNBC journalist Jim Cramer, Huang revealed that the prices of B200 systems will range from PLN 30,000 to PLN 40,000 per unit.
“To produce these systems, we had to develop a completely new technology,” said the head of Nvidia in the CNBC studio. He also estimated that Nvidia had invested about $10 billion in the project. B200 chips will be more expensive than their predecessors. According to CNBC’s findings, H100 units were offered at prices ranging from PLN 25,000 to PLN 40,000 each.
Later, Huang clarified that the final price of the chips does not only include the production costs themselves, but also the costs of designing the data centers and their integration with third-party data centers.
The high prices of Nvidia’s business partners are unlikely to discourage you. Amazon has already announced that it will build a server cluster based on 20,000 GB200 chips. New chips will also be available, among others: to Google, Microsoft, OpenAi, Oracle and even Elon Musk’s Tesla.
What about Blackwell graphics cards aimed at the consumer market? Nvidia is not revealing any details yet. We only know that the next generation of gaming GPUs will arrive in 2025.
On Wednesday, Nvidia’s share price once again broke the $900 mark. The company’s market capitalization is currently USD 2.22 billion, which makes it the third most valuable American company listed on the stock exchange – after Microsoft and Apple.
