Users of Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco smartphones complained of a glitch

Users of Xiaomi smartphones have complained about a massive crash. This was reported by 3DNews.

Publications complaining about problems with Xiaomi, Redmi and Poco devices were noticed on forums and social networks. Owners of Chinese brand gadgets from Russia also spoke about the failure. For example, relevant posts appeared in the Xiaomi user group on VKontakte.

The problem is that after a reboot, the smartphone does not start in normal mode, but goes into cyclic reboot mode. It is impossible to use the gadget in this mode. Apparently, the problems are widespread.

“This is what’s happening to the phone today, it reboots itself and then again,” said the owner of Xiaomi Poco X3 Pro Valeria Vagner, attaching a photo of the non-working phone. “Absolutely the same. Xiaomi 11T Pro phone. After the HyperOS update, the phone went into eternal reboot,” Alexander Salamonov said about the problem. Many community members associated the problems with the release of the HyperOS update.

“We are already working to solve the problem. We apologize for the inconvenience,” Xiaomi representatives responded to the messages. As a temporary measure, the company advised to reset the settings with complete loss of data.

At the end of February, GS Group analysts said that by the end of 2023, Chinese smartphone manufacturers had managed to flood the Russian market with their equipment. The share of Chinese smartphones in the Russian market increased by 4 percentage points.
