The Verge: Lenovo has released a laptop with a transparent screen for artists
The Chinese company Lenovo released a concept laptop with a transparent screen at MWC 2024. This was reported by The Verge.
According to journalists who got acquainted with the device, the presented device has a display that can become completely transparent – so that the user can see objects behind the screen. When working with a computer, the degree of transparency can be adjusted.
The device has a 17.3-inch MicroLED screen with a resolution of 720 pixels. According to Lenovo representatives, they are currently unable to develop a transparent panel with a higher resolution. The company said that such a device will be useful for artists who can draw from objects located behind the device’s screen.
The computer has a touch keyboard, which can also turn into a huge trackpad and a surface for a stylus. The company noted that the laptop will not go on sale in the near future, but predicted the distribution of such laptops in the next five years.
Previously, AliExpress users spoke about a significant limitation in the supply of computers and other components on the site. According to them, this happened after the three largest banks in China stopped accepting payments from Russia.
