Unveiled in the summer of 2023, the device is considered the thinnest foldable smartphone on the market. The thickness of its body when folded is 9.9 millimeters, when open it is 4.7 millimeters. In the Russian chain of stores, the gadget will begin to be sold at a price of 160 thousand rubles for the version with 16 gigabytes of RAM and 512 gigabytes of internal memory.

The company clarified that at the pre-order stage the gadget will be cheaper by 20 thousand rubles – the discount is included in the price. Also, for placing an order between February 9 and February 19, the buyer will receive an Honor Pad X9 LTE tablet as a gift and a free screen replacement service for 6 months.

Representatives of the retailer noted that at the end of 2023, the demand for folding smartphones at M.Video-Eldorado increased fourfold. “Flexible smartphones continue to evolve, become more technologically advanced and attract the attention of an increasingly wider audience that is looking for new emotions in stylish devices with a large display,” said Sergei Uvarov, head of the Telecom department at M.Video-Eldorado.

At the beginning of February, the Chinese company Honor talked about testing a new battery for the Magic6 Pro smartphone. As part of a test for operation at sub-zero temperatures, the device was sent into the stratosphere.
