Therefore, a confidential report will be submitted to the prosecutor’s office regarding the possibility of committing a crime, said the Minister of Digitization during a press conference on Wednesday.

She recalled that there was a heated discussion about the program in the Sejm, and MPs raised numerous doubts regarding its implementation.
– The PiS government behaved exceptionally disgustingly during the election campaign. They have exploited children and their need to access technology for their exclusive purposes. They treated him like an election sausage. They handed them out without preparing a real strategy. The laptops were not protected against misuse and exposed children to cyber threats, said the minister.

As he said, not only was no money received from the European Union for the program because the EU expenditure from 2023 was questioned, but also the funds were not secured in the budget.
The Minister of Digitization accused the previous Minister, Mateusz Morawiecki, of errors in running and financing the program last year. The politician noted on tvn24.pl that “there was no money, it was spent on credit, it is not known what happened to it or how it was used.” He also added that the previous authorities left a huge mess in financing the project.
