Microsoft is known for a rather aggressive advertising policy regarding its products and services. If you use one, the company will do a lot to convince you to use another. This especially applies to Windows users, who are often inundated with requests, for example, to log in to their account or use the One Drive.
Windows will display the annoying message again. It will cover the entire screen
Now Microsoft is targeting users of Windows 10 computers who are still waiting to switch to Windows 11, the latest version of the American giant’s operating system. There is something to fight for, because – according to the results – as many as 66.5 percent still work under the control of “10”. all Windows devices (in the case of version 11 it is only 27.8%).
As t notes, Windows 10 users are again shown a message encouraging them to upgrade to Windows 11. “Microsoft recommends Windows 11 for your computer,” we read in the headline. The pop-up window covers almost the entire screen surface, and at the bottom there are two buttons – to reject the installation of a new system or download an update. Traditionally, the second one is better marked.
According to the website, annoying messages about the possibility of switching to Windows 11 are displayed to users who decided to install the optional January update for Windows 10. Microsoft uses every opportunity to remind that “11” is just waiting to be on their computers.
Even though updating to the latest version of Microsoft’s system is free, only 1/4 of all Windows users use Windows 11. However, perhaps the share of the system will soon start to grow, because next year the company will end support for Windows 10. According to the schedule, using “10” after October 2025 will be quite risky.
