The Verge: Apple will introduce generative AI features into its gadgets in 2024

Apple CEO Tim Cook spoke about the generative artificial intelligence (AI) features that will soon appear in the brand’s devices. This was reported by The Verge.

During a call with investors on its quarterly earnings call, Cook said his corporation is working to implement generative AI capabilities. “As we look to the future, we will continue to invest in these and other technologies that will shape the future,” the Apple executive said, saying new features will arrive as early as 2024.

According to media journalists, it appears that the company will release its own chatbot similar to ChatGPT or an advanced AI-based assistant, which will be integrated into smartphones, tablets, computers and other gadgets of the brand.

Analysts asked Cook to talk more about future opportunities, but the head of the IT giant refused: “Our principle, if you like, has always been to do the work and then talk about it.”

At the end of January, Financial Time journalists reported that Apple would add artificial intelligence to the iPhone in mid-2024. New features are expected to appear in iOS 18, which will be announced in June.
