Bloomberg: new iPad Air, iPad Pro and MacBook Air models will be shown at the end of March
Apple has planned to announce several new devices in the spring. Bloomberg reports this.
According to agency observer Mark Gurman, in the coming months the corporation will update its line of entry-level tablets and computers. Gurman revealed the timing of the release of new devices – according to his sources, Apple will hold a presentation and show the gadgets at the end of March.
The author found out that one of the new gadgets will be the iPad Air, which will be released in two versions – with a 10.9-inch and 12.9-inch display. The models will receive a powerful Apple M2 processor, support for Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3. The current iPad Air has an M1 chip.
Apple will also show 11-inch and 13-inch iPad Pro models. The main feature of the devices will be the presence of an OLED screen. Most likely, due to the transition to OLED, the next iPad Pro models will be more expensive than usual. Finally, the company will present new MacBook Air ultrabooks, which will receive an M3 processor. According to the observer, no major changes in the design of the MacBook Air are expected this year.
Apple previously clarified that third-party application stores would not be added to the iPad. Also, alternative browsers and a replacement for Apple Pay will not appear on tablets.
