Wccftech: Samsung Galaxy S25 will receive a record-breakingly powerful Snapdragon processor
Samsung Corporation will present a flagship smartphone in 2025, which will feature record power. This was reported by Wccftech.
Media journalists referred to an insider under the nickname Digital Chat Station, who revealed the first details of the new Samsung flagships. According to him, the Galaxy S25 will receive a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, which can operate at a frequency of 4 gigahertz. This is significantly higher than the current Qualcomm chip, which operates at 3.3 gigahertz.
The insider noted that such a breakthrough will be possible thanks to the use of a three-nanometer process technology in the development of the chip. Digital Chat Station called this the main feature of the flagship. According to him, many Android smartphones will receive the Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 processor, but Samsung devices will come out with it earlier than others. It is likely that devices from the Korean brand may also receive a special overclocked version.
The specialist also noted that Samsung flagships may be equipped with an updated camera based on Sony sensors. The Galaxy S25 series will be released in early 2025.
On January 17, Samsung introduced the Galaxy S24 line of smartphones. One of the features of the devices is support for an assistant based on artificial intelligence (AI) Galaxy AI.
