Expensive iPhone 13 fell in price for the first time

The flagship iPhone 13 Pro fell in price for the first time since it went on sale. This is reported by the publication Hi-Tech Mail.ru.

According to the media catalog, the base model with 128 gigabytes of internal memory was available on the Russian market for less than 95 thousand rubles. At the start of sales, the expensive device was estimated at 100 thousand rubles. The iPhone 13 Pro costs the same in the Apple online store.

“A few months later, the minimum bar dropped below 95 thousand rubles, and in some stores a smartphone can be found cheaper by a few thousand more,” the authors noted.

Released in September, the smartphone received a 6.1-inch Super Retina XDR OLED display, Apple’s flagship A15 Bionic processor, and six gigabytes of RAM. The phone is equipped with a triple camera with 12 megapixel lenses each and a lidar, a 3095 milliampere-hour battery, support for fast charging, NFC, Face ID.

In early December, it became known that Apple partners for the first time in ten years stopped production of the iPhone due to a shortage of components. Nikkei sources said that the American company has cut production of gadgets by millions of units and is at risk of losing billions of dollars in revenue.
