Pussy Riot participant Maria Alekhina was detained in Moscow.

As the lawyer Daniil Berman told “Interfax”, she was detained at the exit from the house. The reason for the detention is unknown.

Earlier on Thursday, another Pussy Riot member, municipal deputy Lyusya Stein, was detained. The police drew up a report on her under the article on propaganda and public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols.

Alekhina was sentenced by a court decision on a “sanitary case” for a year, forbidden to leave the house from 10 pm to 6 am, leave Moscow and participate in public events. The court also ordered her to report to the inspection twice a month.

Stein was sentenced to a year of restriction of freedom in a case of violation of sanitary standards during an uncoordinated rally in January 2021 in Moscow. By a court decision, the mundep is prohibited from leaving the apartment from 22:00 to 06:00, changing his place of residence without notice, leaving Moscow without the consent of a state body and participating in public events. In addition, the court is obliged to Stein twice a month to appear in the criminal executive inspectorate.
