It’s not the first time this has happened, but it has in recent days access of unauthorized people to virtual platforms where classes are held due to the state of emergency resulting from the internal armed conflict against criminal gangs in Ecuador.
President Daniel Noboa has declared a state of emergency since January 8 last year due to the violent events recorded in several cities in the country. However, a day later, an internal armed conflict was declared following the raid on a television channel for which the application of non-face-to-face modality was introduced for the entire educational system.
One of the sectors that changed the modality was education. Schools and colleges have enabled platforms to deliver classes to students.

The The National Union of Educators (UNE) denounced the alleged presence of armed people who have entered virtuality.
According to the teachers union, on January 10 and 12, days of non-in-person activities, they received several warnings from teachers telling them about the presence of unrelated individuals who entered the virtual classrooms to make threats.
