Those interested in Organization of American States (OAS) academic scholarships, to pursue master’s degrees, doctoral studies and post-doctoral research this year, You can submit applications until March 29, 2024.

Scholarships are awarded for full-time studies at any university in the OAS Member States, including those participating in the OAS Consortium of Universities.

It is noted that the scholarships are awarded for a period of at least one year and a maximum of two years of study.

The study modality is face-to-face, remotely (online) or a combination of both. When selecting scholarship recipients, preference will be given to applications for scholarships for online studies, the OAS indicates.

Scholarship recipients must return to the sponsoring country and remain there for a period of not less than 24 months after completion of their studies. Scholarship students enrolled in online programs must commit to remain in the country of study for the same period.

Advantages

The OAS indicates that its academic scholarships are complementary in nature, that is, they do not attempt to cover 100% of the scholarship recipient’s costs.

Scholarships have a monetary limit of $10,000 per academic year. These may cover the following benefits, in this order of priority:
