The plea from an older adult who wants to see and hug his children has moved thousands of people since Víctor Domínguez’s case broke on Honduran television.

He says he was a broadcaster, that he worked at Radio Atenea, and that he can’t remember how he came to the asylum.

According to Channel 44, this grandfather is asking for the support of the media so that he can have more opportunities to be heard.

Christmas is approaching and as a gift he asks “that his children come and visit him at the nursing home where he is, as he has not been able to see them for a long time.”

At HCH, they said Domínguez has been staying at the San Felipe Hospital nursing home since April 2023. He came from another grandparent residence called Ceder, located in Tegicugalpa.
