Previously there were 18 ministries.

The signing of this decree will unite the Ministries of Transport, Public Works, Mining, Energy and Communications and other ministries such as Social Development, Health, Labor and Education. While the Ministry of Culture becomes a secretariat.
The reduced cabinet also delivers on the campaign promise reduce government expenditure.
