GSM Arena: Samsung Galaxy S24 will receive 8 gigabytes of RAM
An insider under the nickname Ice Universe revealed the characteristics of future Samsung flagships. This was reported by GSM Arena.
According to specialists, at the beginning of 2024 the Korean company will introduce three new devices – Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra. Basic versions of the devices will have eight gigabytes of RAM. Advanced models will receive 12 gigabytes of RAM.
Ice Universe concluded that there is no version with 16 gigabytes of RAM. According to the insider, this fact surprised him: for example, even the Galaxy S20 Ultra model released in 2020 had an advanced version with 16 gigabytes of memory.
The author also said that the Galaxy S24 and S24+ will receive a Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 or Exynos 2400 processor, depending on the sales region. Only the top-end version of the Galaxy S24 Ultra will come exclusively with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor.
At the end of November, insiders from South Korea said that the Samsung Galaxy S24 line of smartphones would be presented on January 17 at a presentation in the United States. The devices will go on sale starting January 30.
