An unusual event occurred on Monday (November 20) morning in the French city of Strasbourg, located on the border with Germany. At around 7:40 a.m., firefighters there received a call to a car parked at number 32, on route de la Lisière.
France. The mysterious object pierced through a parked car
After arriving at the scene, it turned out that smoke was coming from the Renault Clio 2 car. Initial inspection showed that the impact of an unidentified object had punctured the roof of the vehicle, resulting in a large hole in the chassis. Upon contact with the unrecognized material, the windows also cracked, and bright, unidentified dust fell around the vehicle.
After conducting the reconnaissance, the services assessed that a “collapse of a celestial body” could have occurred, with the fall of the body indicated as the most likely scenario. There were no passengers in the car at the time of the incident.
Meteor impact in Strasbourg. The stone is “no bigger than a hazelnut”
The mysterious object found under the vehicle is much smaller than the diameter of the holes carved in its roof and floor. However, experts say that due to the high speed achieved when falling, it could have caused damage on such a scale. According to French media reports, the alleged meteorite is “no bigger than a hazelnut.”
The rock was transported to Paris. It has already been tested for radiological risk. Initial tests showed that it was not radioactive.
