Xiaomi 11t Pro vs Oppo Reno 6 Pro. Who was the winner of this clash? [TOPtech]

Both devices can be liked. Xiaomi 11t Pro is an almost frameless smartphone with a large screen with a diagonal of 6.7 inches. Both the front panel and the back of the device are covered with Gorilla Glass Victus, and the whole thing is additionally reinforced with an aluminum frame.

In terms of design, the Reno 6 Pro looks similar – with two minor differences and one significant one. The diagonal of the screen is slightly smaller and amounts to 6.55 inches, and instead of shiny, brushed black backs, we find here matte and non-collecting glass, covered with a shimmering Reno Glow coating.

The most important difference concerns the location of the fingerprint reader. In the case of the OPPO smartphone, it is placed under the screen, and in the 11T Pro model, the scanner can be found under the button on the right edge of the device. Which solution is better? It’s just a matter of taste.

DISPLAY

Both smartphones have excellent AMOLED displays with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels. As befits organic matrices, we can count on infinite contrast, deep blacks and excellent color reproduction.

The only noticeable differences are therefore the maximum brightness and the refresh rate of the screen. In the case of Xiaomi 11t Pro, we can count on as much as 1000 nits and 120 Hz, and in the case of Reno 6 Pro, the maximum brightness is 800 nits with a 90 Hz refresh.

PERFORMANCE

When it comes to performance, the 11t Pro is better on paper. It has a Snapdragon 888 chip with Adreno 660 graphics, which is one of the most efficient mobile processors on the market. In the case of the OPPO smartphone, we can count on not much, but still weaker Snapdragon 870 with little, but still weaker Adreno 650 graphics.

The problem is that Xiaomi’s advantage is not particularly visible in benchmarks. With more RAM, the OPPO Reno 6 Pro beat its rival quite a bit in the AnTuTu Benchmark test. In turn, in the 3D Mark test, which focuses mainly on the possibilities of the graphics system, the Xiaomi model turned out to be better.

If you are looking for a gaming smartphone then the 11t Pro will be a better choice. In other applications, both devices will perform equally well. They are simply very fast and efficient smartphones.

DRUMS

OPPO Reno 6 Pro has a battery with a capacity of 4500 mAh, which will allow us to work for about one and a half days on a single charge. In the set with the smartphone we find a charger with a power of 65 watts, which is able to charge the device from 0 to 100 percent. in 30 minutes.

And it would be an impressive result, if not for the fact that the Xiaomi 11t Pro, equipped with a 5000 mAh battery, comes with a charger with a capacity of … 120 watts, which means that we will fully charge this smartphone in just a quarter of an hour. It just has to be impressive.

This round is undoubtedly won by Xiaomi, although the producers of both devices deserve a sharp rebuke for the lack of wireless charging, which in the case of a smartphone costing PLN 3,000 is an ordinary scandal.

DEVICE

Xiaomi 11t Pro is equipped with a camera with a set of three lenses. The main eyelet has a 108 MP matrix with f / 1.8 light. We also find here a lens and a macro lens. The biggest drawback of this configuration is the lack of a telephoto lens and optical image stabilization.

We can count on OIS in the case of OPPO Reno 6 Pro. Here, the main lens has a 50 MP matrix with f / 1.8 light, and we also have an ultra wide-angle lens, a telephoto lens and a macro eye.

When it comes to the quality of photos, both smartphones are doing well in good conditions. The frames are sharp and rich in detail, while maintaining the natural colors. Xiaomi 11t Pro copes better with portraits, and Reno 6 Pro with photos from an ultra-wide angle lens.

In macro photos, the Xiaomi 11t Pro fares better again, but only because the two-megapixel macro lens used in OPPO Reno 6 Pro calls for vengeance to heaven.

The Reno 6 Pro, on the other hand, marks its clear advantage in the case of night photos. Here, where the Xiaomi smartphone loses sharpness and details, OPPO offers very expressive and natural frames.

It is certainly influenced by both the more refined night mode and the optical image stabilization

SUMMARY

Xiaomi 11t Pro and OPPO Reno 6 fought a close fight with each other. The 11t Pro won on points, and its strength is not only its performance, but also an excellent 120 Hz screen and 120 watts charging.

In the case of OPPO, I am more convinced by its design, as much as 12 GB of fast RAM and a versatile camera with a great night mode.

Ultimately, however, the price of the 11t Pro tilts the scales of victory. Today we will pay PLN 2,999 for the device, while OPPO Reno 6 Pro is PLN 200 more expensive, and it cost even more for the premiere.
