The more he focuses on his return to the White House, the harder Donald Trump is tightening his tone and actions on immigration. He even speaks of an ‘ideological investigation’.
What have you guys talked about so far? Among the cards he has placed on the table, Noticias Telemundo indicates:
Donald Trump announced that if he wins the 2024 election, he will issue an executive order on his first day in the White House to end automatic citizenship for the children of undocumented migrants and “birth” tourists https ://t.co/ KSHlE2sxde

Deportations of migrants
Republican Donald Trump has repeatedly promised to carry out the “largest deportation operation in the history of the United States” if he is re-elected.
According to AS, citing the New York Times, Trump could achieve his goal through “a form of deportation that does not require due process hearings.”
On Telemundo, they remember him saying, “On the first day of administration, I will sign an executive order to cut the money Biden has allocated for sheltering and transporting undocumented immigrants.”
With his proposals, “he is simply showing us how extremist, how racist and radical he is,” said Vanessa Cárdenas, executive director of “Americas Voice,” for Noticias Telemundo.

View of the United States border
To secure the border with Mexico, Trump expects “he will transfer thousands of troops from abroad and assign federal agents, including those from the Drug Enforcement Administration and the FBI, to enforce immigration laws.”
He also wants to build more sections of the border wall. Trump has pledged to “immediately stop the invasion of the southern border” and to crack down on illegal immigration.
As part of that plan, he says he would immediately direct U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement to conduct the largest internal deportation operation in the country’s history.
It would target people who live legally in the United States but harbor “jihadist sympathies” and revoke the student visas of those who espouse anti-American and anti-Semitic views.
Experts point out that Trump’s proposal “would have problems from logistical to financial, including diplomatic, and would be exposed to lawsuits in court,” the news network said.

Ideological exam for migrants
His proposals go further. According to Noticias Telemundo, Trump wants to reimpose and expand his veto on seven Muslim-majority countries to “keep radical Islamic terrorists out of the country.”
Trump would revive his travel ban on people from certain Muslim-majority countries
Following the Hamas attack on Israel, the former US president has promised to launch an “ideological investigation” into immigrants.
Its purpose? Telemundo explains: closing access to “crazies, haters, fanatics and dangerous maniacs,” as well as those who “empathize with terrorists and radical Islamic extremists.”
End of birthright
Trump’s immigration plan, AS points out, contemplates signing an executive order to deny citizenship to children born in the United States to undocumented immigrant parents, ending one of the main “incentives” among migrants.

The Democrats’ view
On the Democratic side, they say: “This is the terrible reality that awaits the American people if Donald Trump is allowed to get close to the Oval Office again.
This extreme, racist and cruel policy, created by him and his “accomplice” Stephen Miller, is designed to incite fear and divide us. “By betting on a scared and divided country, he will win these elections.”
The elections are just over a year away. There is still a long way to go, there is still a lot to listen to and analyze.
