Not only will he take care of your money, but he will also help you find love. Elon Musk will create a dating website

Elon Musk is not giving up on his idea of creating an “everything” application from X (formerly Twitter). But we didn’t expect this. It turns out that X will not only be a social networking site and a bank, but also a dating platform. At the same time.

A few days ago, Elon Musk announced to X employees that he intends to soon make financial services available on the portal. – from storing them, through transfers and payments, to paying bills and even investments. He also gave them a short deadline to implement the idea – they must complete the premiere by the end of 2024.

Elon Musk’s X really is supposed to be for everything. Also for dating

Now it turns out that Elon Musk’s plans go much further. According to informants, during the same conversation with employees, the billionaire also announced another, quite unexpected function of X. According to people participating in the meeting, the billionaire said that X will be a “full-fledged” dating website.

Elon Musk reportedly seemed excited about the new project. He also gave employees a short deadline to implement new features in X – just like in the case of financial services, dating functions are also to be implemented by the end of 2024. However, X’s boss did not go into details and did not reveal how he planned to reconcile all these new features in one application and whether X users need such functions at all.

However, Elon Musk’s new idea is consistent with his long-term plan. It is no secret that the billionaire wants to offer as many benefits as possible to people paying for an X Premium subscription in order to attract as many new users as possible and improve the platform’s revenues. As you might suspect, dating functions may be included in the Premium plan, which may encourage some people to purchase access. Perhaps the same will happen with at least some of the previously announced functions related to handling the finances of X’s customers.

Interestingly, in mid-October, quite a surprising program. X blocked new users in the Philippines and New Zealand from posting on X and “interacting with other posts.” Users who want to unlock these – by far the most basic – capabilities of X must pay a fee of $1 per year. The program – at least officially – is not intended to generate profits, but only to “reduce spam, manipulation and bot activity.” I wonder if it will limit the number of new users.
