PKP Intercity trains will stop for an hour. This applies to 13 connections throughout Poland [LISTA]

Due to the change from summer to winter time, PKP Intercity announced changes in train running this weekend. The carrier informed that at night the trains would stop for an hour at the nearest railway station.

On the night of October 28-29, we change from summer to winter time, which means that we change the clocks from 3.00 to 2.00. they also have to adapt to the time change, so they will stop their cars for an hour.

On October 24, PKP published information regarding the change from summer to winter. “PKP Intercity trains will stop at the nearest station for an hour to reach their destination according to the schedule,” the carrier said.   1. IC international rel. Jagodin – Chełm; stop at Dorohusk station from 02:45 summer time, departure at 04:30 winter time,
  2. IC NIGHTJET rel. Bohumin – Frankfurt; stop at Bohumin station from 02:40 summer time, departure at 02:40 winter time,
  3. TLK Karkonosze rel. Warszawa Gdańska – Jelenia Góra; stop at Gliwice Station from 02:06 summer time, departure at 02:11 winter time,
  4. TLK Karkonosze rel. Jelenia Góra – Warsaw Gdansk; stop at Gliwice station from 02:07 summer time, departure at 02:11 winter time,
  5. TLK Karpaty rel. Zakopane – Gdynia; stop at Częstochowa station from 01:57 summer time, departure at 02:03 winter time,
  6. TLK Karpaty rel. Gdynia Główna – Zakopane; stop at Częstochowa station from 01:57 summer time, departure at 02:04 winter time,

“All passengers’ questions regarding the operation of PKP Intercity trains will be answered by hotline consultants at +48 22 391 97 57. The PKP Intercity hotline is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Information will also be provided by conductor teams working that night” – informed PKP.

Until when will we change the time in Poland?

According to the recommendations of the European Commission, we will extend the time until at least 2026. The last such information was issued in 2021 and covers the years 2022-2026. – Pursuant to this document, all EU member states must prepare legal provisions on the basis of which the current arrangements related to time changes will be continued – said Deputy Minister of Development and Technology Olga Semeniuk.
