We cannot control everything that is shown on social networks, but we can use them responsibly. Precisely, this is the objective of Encuentros Mentes AMI, which this Saturday celebrates its second edition. In this sense, Miguel Ángel Benzal, general director of the Entity for the Management of Rights of Audiovisual Producers (EGEDA), defends “the use of audiovisual as an educational tool for teachers, for students and for families”.

Along the same lines, Segundo Píriz, rector of UNIE University, highlights the importance of “the media literacy and informational, given the power of social networks and the media.

In this edition, the event has had the artificial intelligence as the main protagonist, dealing, above all, with its impact on the educational field. The event was led by presenters Roberto Leal and José Yélamo. “It is an honor for us to be presenting this event surrounded by so much talent physically here, and also through streaming,” Leal said during the meeting.

The event was streamed with María Lamela from the ‘Mentes AMI’ app and on Atresplayer. During the meeting, the Atresmedia Foundation also presented its didactic use guide for teachers ‘AMIBOX-Aula’an online guide on media, informational and digital skills.
