Apple fixes image retention issue on iPhone 15 Pro
Apple has released an iOS update that fixes an issue with the iPhone 15 Pro screen. This was reported by BGR.
The corporation responded to another problem, which users identified as display burnout, in mid-October. Apple noted that the marks remaining on the screen of the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max may not appear due to pixel burnout, but due to a software error.
The company called the problem “image retention,” which is where the outlines of the iOS interface and apps remain on the display. Appe said that the problem was resolved in iOS 17.1.
The publication’s journalists noted that the update has also become available for smartphones of the iPhone 14 and iPhone 13 series. Previously, their owners also stated that they encountered problems with the display.
Earlier in October, Apple released iOS 17.0.3 update, which was supposed to fix the overheating problem of new smartphones. However, users stated that their devices continued to maintain high body temperatures in some cases.
