People who will be outside their city of residence on the day of the parliamentary elections can easily change their place of voting. This can be done not only at the office, but also online. However, on the X website, some people write that state systems cannot cope with accepting such notifications.
They report problems with changing their online voting location. Trusted Profile Error?
The problems were reported on X by, among others, Wirtualna Polska journalist Patrycjusz Wyżga and economist Rafał Mundry, posting screenshots with information about a “system error”. Some other users of the platform also “boasted” of similar screenshots. “It turns out this is a bigger failure,” Mundry wrote. The problem appears when, through the state system or the mObywatel application, users try to change the place of voting in the elections that will take place next Sunday.
A few days ago, the Ministry of Digital Affairs added the ability to conveniently check the place and address of voting from a smartphone with the mObywatel application. If you want to change the location where you want to vote, the program redirects you to the ePUAP system, where you need to log in via the Zaufany Profile (or e-ID card, electronic banking) or the mObywatel application. Both the first and second options will not work for some people.
As reported in turn, at the same time there are reports of an interruption in the operation of the Trusted Profile. Some people using this login method see a message about a “maintenance break” that is scheduled to last until October 28. At the same time, many users on the X portal report that they have no problems with the operation of Zaufany Profile and mObywatela when changing the voting location. So it seems that the problems may have only affected a small group of people.
