Expert Zakarian: hidden buttons can disable surveillance capabilities on your phone

Hidden buttons in the settings can disable the ability to spy and eavesdrop on your smartphone. Expert Vahe Zakarian spoke about this in an interview with the Prime agency.

The specialist clarified that disabled services in the gadget can collect information about the owner in the background. On iPhone models, this can be checked for each option separately in the Privacy and Security menu, Zakarian explained.

Requests to track activity on websites and other applications can be completely disabled. To do this, in the settings, in the “Privacy and Security” section, you need to select the “Tracking” menu. Next, you need to make “Tracking requests by applications” inactive.

On Android, in the settings you need to select the “Phone Information” menu item, then “Software Information” and click on the “Build Number” item seven times. After this, you need to go to “Developer Options”, then “Quick Settings Tiles for Developers”. Then you need to activate the “Sensors off” item, noted Vahe Zakarian.

Earlier, expert Alexander Timofeev said that there are several ways to calculate and stop surveillance through a smartphone camera. According to the specialist, the first thing you need to do is see if the downloaded applications have access to the camera. It can be in well-known applications and instant messengers, or in less important and popular programs.
