CNMO: iPhone 15 Pro users from China suffered burns due to overheating of the gadget
Due to the increased heating of new Apple smartphones, some users of the devices could get burned. This was reported by the Chinese publication CNMO.
Media journalists referred to reports on social networks, according to which the iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max could cause injuries of varying severity. Users published photographs in which one can see burns – characteristic red marks – on the fingers and thighs.
As smartphone owners said, the injuries were sustained after using the gadgets. One of the visitors to social networks posted a video in which he showed burn marks on his thigh. “I swear on my life that this happened because of the iPhone, although I can’t believe it myself,” the user said.
Apple has not publicly responded to reports that the new smartphones could cause injury to their owners. However, the company said it will fix the overheating issue in the next iOS update.
At the end of September, authoritative insider Ming-Chi Ko said that overheating of Apple’s flagship smartphones could be caused by errors made in the design of the devices. According to the specialist, the devices began to overheat due to the fact that Apple simplified the heat dissipation system.
