Izvestia: when buying an Apple Watch, you should look at the price and serial number
Izvestia specialist Ivan Chernousov named a way to distinguish an original Apple Watch from a fake. The material was published on the publication’s website.
According to Chernousov, first of all you should pay attention to the cost of smart watches. The author noted that the new Apple Watch – especially the 8th or 9th generation – cannot be cheap. If the price of a device is less than 10 thousand rubles, then this should alert the buyer.
In addition, when purchasing a device secondhand, you need to look at its performance. “Features like Siri should work,” the expert said. It’s also worth checking the product’s serial number: “All original Apple Watches can easily be found on the Apple website.” Ivan Chernousov concluded that, having a serial number, you can find out whether the smart watch still has a worldwide warranty.
Earlier, journalists from 9to5Mac noticed that invisible signs appeared on the packaging of iPhone 15 series smartphones, guaranteeing the authenticity of the devices. The signs can only be seen when exposed to ultraviolet light.
