Three of the four new iPhone 15s cost exactly the same as their 14 series counterparts at launch. Only one has gone up in price (by $100) – iPhone 15 Pro Max. This is at least the case in the USA, because in Poland the situation is completely different. All iPhones, without exception, are cheaper than when the iPhone 14 was launched a year ago. And none of the variants costs more than PLN 10,000. zloty.
iPhone 15 and 15 Plus. The prices are the same, but lower. All because of the dollar
Last year, Apple priced the iPhone 14 and 14 Plus at respectively 799 and 899 dollars (we are talking about the cheapest memory versions). iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max, on the other hand, cost money 999 and 1099 dollars. Phone 15, 15 Plus and 15 Pro cost exactly the same this year. The only difference is the price of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which costs $1,199 (a $100 price increase).
On the Polish market, Apple has never converted prices one to one, because you have to add customs duties and Polish VAT. Traditionally, iPhone 15 is more expensive in Poland than in the USA. Nothing changes in this respect. However, there is also good news.
iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus. It’s cheaper than last year
Polish iPhone prices have already appeared in the Apple Store. Let’s start with the basic models, i.e. iPhone 15 and 15 Plus, which will cost us:
- iPhone 15 (128 GB) – PLN 4,699,
- iPhone 15 (256 GB) – PLN 5,299,
- iPhone 15 (512 GB) – PLN 6,499,
- iPhone 15 Plus (128 GB) – PLN 5,299,
- iPhone 15 Plus (256 GB) – PLN 5,899,
- iPhone 15 Plus (512 GB) – PLN 7,099.
For comparison, the cheapest versions of iPhone 14 and 14 Plus cost PLN 5,199 and 5,899, respectively, at the time of release. It is therefore PLN 500 and PLN 600 cheaper than a year ago. The difference is even greater in the case of the best memory variants, for which a year ago you had to pay PLN 700 more – PLN 7,199 (iPhone 14) and PLN 800 more – PLN 7,899 (iPhone 14 Plus).
It is worth noting, however, that today the prices of iPhone 14 have already dropped and are lower than in the case of the Fifteen. For the cheapest variant of the iPhone 14, we will pay “only” PLN 4,099 in the Apple store, and in the case of the 14 Plus version, prices start from PLN 4,699.
iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max cost a fortune. And this despite the discount
The prices of the more powerful iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are traditionally absurd and are:
- iPhone 15 Pro (128 GB) – PLN 5,999
- iPhone 15 Pro (256 GB) – PLN 6,599
- iPhone 15 Pro (512 GB) – PLN 7,799
- iPhone 15 Pro (1 TB) – PLN 8,999
- iPhone 15 Pro Max (256 GB) – PLN 7,199
- iPhone 15 Pro Max (512 GB) – PLN 8,399
- iPhone 14 Pro Max (1 TB) – PLN 9,599
So the situation is similar. iPhone 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max are cheaper than iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max a year ago. In the case of the cheapest Pro 128 GB version, the difference is PLN 500 (PLN 6,499 then), and for the Pro Max model (256 GB variant) it is PLN 700 cheaper (PLN 7,899 then).
It should be added here that Apple has abandoned the 128 GB capacity variant this year in the case of the iPhone 15 Pro Max, which cost PLN 7,199 a year ago, which is the same as the cheapest Pro Max currently.

The gift made the dollar exchange rate. It is 38 cents lower
Apple lowered the prices of new iPhones, because the dollar exchange rate has changed significantly since September 2022. To our advantage, fortunately. On September 7, i.e. on the day of the premiere of the iPhone 14, we paid PLN 4.71 for one dollar, and currently it is PLN 4.33 (0.38 groszy less). So it’s nice of Apple that they didn’t ignore this fact and actually lowered the Polish price list of new smartphones with the bitten apple logo.
iPhone 15, 15 Plus, 15 Pro and 15 Pro Max will be available for pre-sale in Poland on September 15 this year. (at 2:00 p.m.). Traditionally, the set with new smartphones does not include a wall charger, but only a USB Type-C power cable, which should not be a surprise.
