The main star of the Apple conference, which will take place on Tuesday evening, will, of course, be the iPhone 15 – the first smartphones of the American manufacturer, which will have a universal USB Type-C port in place of the Lightning connector. But it is already known that the new iPhones will not be the only something new that Apple has prepared for this evening.
New iPhones and…,? What else will Apple present?
Although, of course, the iPhone manufacturer never revealed what we can expect, informants did so in unofficial leaks. Rumors have it that Apple will present a new generation of smart watches during the conference – Apple Watch Series 9. Unfortunately, the main – if not the only – change compared to its predecessors will be a new, more efficient processor. According to Mark Gurman from Bloomberg, it may be a system based on the Apple A15 Bionic, which is known from iPhone 13.
In addition, there will be a second generation of the uncompromising Apple Watch Ultra, which will receive the same processor as cheaper models, but will offer minor design changes. Apparently, Apple tried to reduce the size and weight of this device, which was certainly a step in the right direction.
Work at Apple was also reportedly ongoing on the AirPods headphones, or at least on the charging case itself. However, only one thing may change: the Lightning charging port is to be replaced by USB Type C, so that customers can replenish energy in their phone and headphones using the same cable. It is unclear whether the AirPods will receive any other modifications.
Traditionally, Apple will also reveal the secret about new operating systems – iOS for iPhone, iPadOS, watchOS and macOS. The American press strongly hopes that as part of “one more thing”, Apple will reveal some more details about Vision Pro. This is a ridiculously expensive ($3,500) set of augmented reality goggles, which was announced in June this year and is scheduled to hit the market in early 2024.
