Ecuador was one of six countries to receive recognition at the Latin American level from the Hyundai Motor Company for its dealers.

The award recognizes outstanding performance in sales, installation and quality of customer service by dealers, Hyundai said in a statement.

Héctor Quirós, marketing manager of Hyundai Ecuador, explained that the award is called Doty (Dealer of the Year).

Compliance with retail sales target, market share growth rate, customer retention in after-sales service, customer satisfaction index in sales and after-sales, and compliance with brand standards are evaluated.

As Hyundai Ecuador, we feel very honored to have received the highest recognition in the management of our dealerships. We know that we strive to achieve excellence across the region, positioning the brand as a benchmark for quality and safety.

Neoauto and its agency Cumbayá were the winner

The award, the director explained, evaluates the achievement of objectives, as the brand has regional indicators such as sales, growth rates, market share, customer retention and satisfaction index, among others.

Although indicators are collected, he points out, the brand has specialized software into which this information is loaded, on the basis of which more detailed analyzes are made. There are also ‘ghost customers’ who give tours.

For Quirós, the fact that one of the dealers obtains this recognition turns him into a reference for others.

He especially emphasized that there are customers who are satisfied not only with the product, but also with the attention they receive during the commercial process and after the purchase.
