Yandex together with Xiaomi introduced Smart Display
The Yandex company has released a smart device for the home with a screen. This is stated in a press release received by the editors of “Lenta.ru”.
The device has a 10.1-inch touch display – you can control the device through the screen or by voice. The company clarified that this is the first joint product of Yandex and Xiaomi. At the same time, the hardware was created in Xiaomi, in Yandex they were responsible for the software.
With the help of the Alice voice assistant, you can search for information on the Internet, learn about the weather, find recipes – the data will also appear on the screen. Also, through the “Smart Display” you can control smart home devices, turn on music, activate a timer or set an alarm. The device is equipped with a camera, using the “Smart Display” you can make calls via Telegram. If necessary, the camera can be closed with a shutter.
“Smart Display” was estimated at 21,990 rubles, the gadget will be available for purchase in Xiaomi stores, M.Video, Technopark, DNS and other retailers. From 7 to 13 September, you can pre-order and buy a device for 18,990 rubles, from 14 to 20 September – 19,990 rubles.
In early April, Yandex announced a new Station Max column and smart home sensors. The smart column was estimated at 29,990 rubles.
