For two murders, committed at dawn on Friday, August 18, 2023, authorities in Houston, Texas are looking for a Hispanic.
At first they linked him to his boss’s shooting. But early last week they linked it to another act of blood that was recorded that same morning. In that case, the victim is the daughter of the current fugitive.
The two murders happened an hour apart, ABC 13 reported.
Who is the Spanish man wanted for the two crimes?
Houston police identified the suspect as Rafael Antonio Hernández González, a 42-year-old Salvadoran.
Hernández, whom they call “Rafa”, is identified as the alleged assailant of his employer, Josué Geovanni Argueta Girón, aged 45.

Argueta was surprised by death at 6:35 in the morning. According to ABC 13, the man was getting ready for work and was carrying tools to his vehicle when he was killed.
The Salvadoran’s employer lived in the 10200 block of Grove Glen Drive.

Did you kill your daughter that morning?
Now the daughter of the suspect and fugitive, Wendy Guzmán, was also preparing to go to work when she was killed.
That crime happened on 5:35 in the morning of August 18. Both lived under the same roof, southeast of Houston, Univision said.
Rafael Hernández was “charged with murder because the HPD (Houston Police Department) learned that he allegedly killed 21-year-old Wendy Guadalupe Guzmán just an hour before 45-year-old Josué Argueta Girón was killed,” ABC spread on the 25th of this month.
The police report on “Rafa” is direct: “He shot Guzmán (daughter) as she was getting ready to go to work and then drove to Argueta’s house and shot him dead.”
The Univisión television network repeated what the police had announced: after being linked to the second murder, the charge was “raised to murder with the possibility of the death penalty.”
