“Wonderlust” – this is the slogan advertised at the September Apple conference. The company has just sent invitations to the autumn Apple Special Event to selected journalists, including the Next.Gazeta.pl editorial office.
The premiere of new iPhones usually takes place in the fall – on the second Tuesday in September. This year is no different – iPhone 15 will be presented on September 12 at 19.00 Polish time.
iPhone 15 on September 12. What do we know about him?
There are many indications that – like last year – four iPhone models will go on sale:
- iPhone 15 – 6.1″ Super Retina XDR display (LTPS, 60Hz);
- iPhone 15 Plus – 6.7″ Super Retina XDR display (LTPS, 60Hz);
- iPhone 15 Pro – 6.1″ Super Retina XDR display (ProMotion);
- iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra – 6.7″ Super Retina XDR Display (ProMotion).
The biggest unknown remains the most powerful and at the same time the most expensive model of the iPhone 15. A number of sources report that Apple intends to change its name. According to Andrew O’Hara from Apple Insider, last year’s iPhone 14 Pro Max will be replaced by the iPhone 15 Ultra.
It is worth recalling that in February Mark Gurman from Bloomberg announced the appearance of the Ultra variant. However, he suggested at the time that it would be an additional fifth iPhone model, not an alternative to the Pro Max model. Who is right here? We’ll find out in just a few weeks.
As reported by the 9to5mac website, the aforementioned iPhone 15 Pro Max / Ultra will go on sale later than the other models, and its premiere may be postponed by up to a month. This is due to the fact that Apple will use an improved camera system here – compared to other variants of the iPhone.
