Meet RedSafe: the Red Cross’ application to help migrants cross Mexico

Mexico experience a rebound at the pace of migrants for their territory it is trying to reach UNITED STATES. In this context, the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) launched a website and a free app called RedSafe to help these people safely and reliably with humanitarian aid.

Can a migrant with asylum choose a visa to the United States to apply for his boyfriend or girlfriend?

Olivier Dubois, head of the committee delegation for Mexico and Central America, said that while the ICRC does not encourage migration, he felt it necessary to contribute to reducing the risks and vulnerabilities people face during their migration journey, according to an EFE evaluation on 16 August last.

The official ICRC website explains that RedSafe is a tool that can “reach more people”, “guarantee digital security” and privacy.
