MacRumors: iPhone 16 Pro will get two lenses with a resolution of 48 megapixels

The specialist said that in the fall of 2024, the American company will introduce the flagship iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. So, Pu predicted the appearance of a new camera – a wide-angle lens with a resolution of 48 megapixels. Thus, the premium devices of the series will receive three lenses with a resolution of 48, 48 and 12 megapixels.
The current flagship iPhone 14 Pro and 14 Pro Max are equipped with a triple camera: the main lens has a resolution of 48 megapixels, the other two are 12 megapixels. The analyst noted that the improved wide-angle sensor will capture more light and detail, which will positively affect image quality.
Also, smartphones in 2024 should receive support for Wi-Fi 7. With its implementation, devices will be able to simultaneously send and receive data in the 2.4 GHz, 5 GHz and 6 GHz bands. In this case, the data rate will increase, and the delay should decrease.
At the end of July, an insider at Digital Chat Station said that the iPhone 16 Pro Max should get a periscope camera. According to the expert, this will significantly improve the quality of the zoom on the smartphone.
